Any public YouTube playlist, channel, or video URL. We pull every video, count the minutes, and lay them out as a numbered course in the time it takes to refill your coffee.
The player marks videos complete as you finish them. One click captures a timestamp; type a sentence and it's filed against the second it happened. Add reference links per course.
Every minute watched = 10 XP. Finish a video, get +25 bonus. Level up. Your weekly hours feed a global leaderboard. Make any course public and let others rate it back.
Click the timestamp button to capture the second you're on. Click the timestamp later to jump back. Notes are searchable across every course you've watched, indexed by who said it and when.
"Pasted the Karpathy playlist on a Tuesday. Finished it by the following Sunday. First time I've ever actually finished one."
"The timestamp notes are the whole thing for me. I finally stopped losing the exact moment I needed to rewatch."
Make any course public with one toggle. Get rated with stars + difficulty/pace tags. Your foreword shows up on the cover. Build a name for the kind of curation only you do, on subjects only you know.
The leaderboard counts time, not posts. Every minute watched ranks you among 5,000+ learners worldwide. Climb gracefully — see your position move in real time when you finish a long lecture. Reset every Monday.
"I finally finished the whole Karpathy series. Three months, 14 hours, every minute logged. The XP wasn't the point — but it was."
"Notes that don't get lost. Timestamps that actually jump the video. I cancelled two other apps the week I started using this."
"I curated a Tony Zhou course for my film students. Eight of them ended up on the leaderboard. They taught each other."
Yes — every feature on this page is free for personal libraries: unlimited courses, unlimited notes, the full leaderboard. We may add a paid tier later for teams and classrooms; we will never paywall watching, tracking, or note-taking.
Any public playlist, channel, or single video. We use the YouTube Data API to pull metadata — titles, durations, thumbnails. Private and unlisted playlists need to be made public (or copied to your own playlist) first.
A video counts as complete when you've watched at least 90% of it, or when you mark it complete manually. Minutes watched are tracked client-side and synced when you pause — so leaving a tab open doesn't pad your hours. The XP formula is one minute = 10 XP, plus a 25 XP bonus per completed video.
Yes — courses are private by default. Toggling a course public puts it in the Discover feed and lets others rate it. You can flip a course private again at any time without losing notes or progress.
Export every note in a course to Markdown with one click, timestamps preserved as headings. Your notes are yours. We never train models on them.
Yes — the web app is fully responsive. A native iOS / Android app is on the roadmap for late 2026. The leaderboard, course pages, and player all work in mobile Safari and Chrome today.
Paste a link. Finish the playlist. Climb the board. Free forever for personal libraries.
